Uploaded content: videos, clips, thumbnails you upload to the platform

Payment data: securely processed by Stripe (we do not store your bank details)

Provide and improve our clip creation services
Process your videos (transcription, AI analysis, rendering)

4. Third-Party Services

Supabase: database hosting and file storage
OpenAI (Whisper): audio transcription of your videos
Anthropic (Claude): AI analysis of clips and viral score generation
Stripe: secure payment processing
Netlify: application hosting

5. YouTube API Services

Viral Animal uses YouTube API Services to let you connect your own YouTube channel, upload the videos you create through our service to your channel, and view your own channel and video statistics inside the app. By using these features, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Data we access: your basic channel information (name, ID) and the public statistics of videos you published through Viral Animal (views, likes, comments, shares).
How we use it: to publish videos to your channel at your request and to display your own performance statistics to you inside the app.
Storage and retention: OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest and deleted when you disconnect your YouTube account. Public video statistics may be stored for up to 36 calendar months in accordance with YouTube's policies; other YouTube data is refreshed or deleted within 30 days.
Sharing: we never share your YouTube data with third parties; it is only displayed to you.

You can revoke Viral Animal's access to your YouTube data at any time from your app Settings, or via the Google security settings page.

6. Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely via Supabase with encryption at rest and in transit. Passwords are hashed. Uploaded videos are stored in private buckets with row-level security controls. We never share your videos with third parties without your explicit consent.

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

Access your personal data
Correct your data
Delete your account and all your data
Export your data (portability)
Withdraw your consent at any time

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies only to maintain your authentication session. We do not use advertising tracking cookies.
